Summary
Gain a comprehensive and critical understanding of the theory and techniques of cyber security and how to apply them to real-world situations with this part-time, fully online Cyber Security MSc from the University of Liverpool.
This specialist degree will build your ability to research, design, implement and deploy creative cyber security solutions. Graduates will be equipped with all the tools needed to take up a rewarding career in this fast-growing sector which is currently suffering from a significant skills shortage.
The programme is accredited by the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, for the purposes of meeting the further learning academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.

An Executive Scholarship of 15% is available for our January 2026 intake.
A UK Scholarship of 20% is available for students residing in the United Kingdom, who enrol on the January 2026 intake of our full master’s awards.
International students residing in specific regions outside the UK may be eligible for a Regional Scholarship of up to 20%.
A separate application form is not required for a scholarship, as it will be applied once you have received your official offer letter. Please note, scholarships cannot be combined but can be used alongside our Up-front Payment Discount.
