Learn how biological evidence and DNA can aid criminal investigations. Develop your skills in forensic biology and investigation, as you learn from world-leading experts.
Our MSc Forensic Biology and Investigation course will develop your skills in the examination of biological evidence and DNA from crime scenes. You’ll gain hands-on experience with biological evidence, body fluids, wildlife crime, DNA extraction and amplification. You'll have access to our excellent facilities, including crime scene houses and forensic taphonomy laboratory.
You will learn how to evaluate this evidence and present it in a legal context. You will even have the chance to practice this in our moot courtroom.
By the end of your course, you will undertake an in-depth research project to develop and specialise your forensic biology research skills.
