Summary
Course Overview
Our MSc Football Science and Rehabilitation will develop your skills in performance, conditioning and rehabilitation for modern football environments.
You will examine the physical and performance demands of football, alongside factors that contribute to injury risk and rehabilitation planning.
The course supports both performance-focused and clinically-focused practitioners. You’ll advance expertise in your own area, while developing an understanding of the other. This helps you see how preparation, physical development and rehabilitation interact in football. Our approach reflects current practice in football, where performance, conditioning and rehabilitation are treated as connected systems rather than separate disciplines.
You will develop strong multidisciplinary communication and teamwork skills. These will help you work well with players, as well as medical, performance and coaching staff. You'll learn how to share information and contribute to discussions about player development. This aligns with modern football practice, where decision-making is shared across medical, physical and coaching roles.
Flexible online delivery allows you to study alongside other commitments. You'll join a community of practitioners working across performance and rehabilitation roles. This will help you to exchange ideas and discuss challenges from different perspectives.
