Summary
Aimed at those wanting to develop an in-depth understanding of social justice issues affecting society across the world, this innovative course explores educational and social inequalities, socio-economic disadvantage, as well as minoritized communities relating to disability, race, sexuality, gender, faith and climate injustice.
Learning from experts in participatory research and community engagement, you will benefit from direct access to the School of Education’s extensive network of partner organisations across private, public and voluntary sectors.
Using a practice-based approach and working collaboratively on ‘live’ projects, you will gain experience of developing and implementing solutions that can tackle social justice issues and contribute to making a difference in the real world from day one.

| Entry requirements | Generally, we ask for a minimum of 2.2 Bachelor (Hons) or international equivalent In order to ensure our students have a rich learning and student experience, most of our programmes have a mix of domestic and international students. We reserve the right to close applications early to either group, if application volumes suggest that this blend cannot be achieved. In addition, existing undergraduate students at the University of Hull have a guaranteed ‘Fast Track’ route to any postgraduate programme, subject to meeting the entry criteria. |
