In December 2024, the University of Bolton was granted permission by the Office for Students (OfS) to change its name to the University of Greater Manchester with immediate effect. While we work to update our systems, you may see both names used in the information we provide.

The University of Greater Manchester’s MSc Psychology (Conversion) qualification is a great way to develop and enhance your critical understanding of psychological theories, methods and current debates. Our expert team will support you in achieving eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society (BPS), an essential first step towards a professional career in psychology.

If you're looking to pursue a psychology-related career or further professional training in psychology and your first degree is not a psychology degree but in an area related to psychology, the University of Greater Manchester's highly regarded conversion course is ideal.
