Summary
Specialise in dealing with the cause, diagnoses, prevention and treatment of diseases of the tooth's dental pulp. This Masters programme is designed for dental graduates who wish to develop clinical skills in endodontics.

Attend all postgraduate lectures in the Dental School which includes external speakers and speakers from dental companies.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
You will attend lectures and seminars and take part in tutorials and Pre-clinical skills sessions, as well as undertaking clinical sessions under direct clinical supervision.
You will take a core course consisting of basic sciences, health sciences and research sciences, and a number of clinical courses dedicated to didactic teaching, reflective learning, clinical procedures and hands-on training in endodontics.
Clinical Courses
Year 1: Biology of Endodontic Diseases Evidence-Based Biomedical Research Methods and Statistics Therapeutics and Diagnostics in Oral Sciences Interdisciplinary Endodontics, Year 2 Medical and Research Ethics Principles and practice of root canal treatment, Year 1 Quality Improvement in Health Care
Year 2: Endodontics- Research Endodontics within the population and options for tooth replacement, Year 2 Management of endodontic problems and failure, Year 2
Please note, this course does not lead to MRD.

| Entry requirements | Applicants should have a universally recognised Dental qualification, normally a Bachelor in Dental Surgery, plus relevant experience. Applicants should be registered dentists in their own countries, with at least 1 year of relevant post-qualifying experience, normally including some practice within Endodontics. Personal statement should be provided showing motivation, experience, and refer to clinical and interpersonal skills. The programme lead will select applicants for interviews before any offer is made. All applicants must be available to travel to the UK by early September for Medical and PVG checks. If an offer is made, further information will be supplied by the programme administrator in due course. |
