Summary
This Masters in Investment Banking & Finance focuses on the key areas of banking and financial investment. You will develop an enhanced understanding of how financial markets operate, particularly in relation to the aims and operations of banking organisations and institutions.
WHY THIS PROGRAMME - Investment Banking & Finance will provide you with an excellent understanding of: how to correctly value financial products such as equities and derivatives using theoretical models of assets, the role of risk in portfolio choice, how international financial markets function, the role of adverse selection and moral hazard problems on the informational irregularities within financial markets.

CAREER PROSPECTS You will have potential future career opportunities with various financial institutions including investment banks, hedge funds, financial consultancies and asset management firms. Graduates of this programme have been employed in various international organisations such as Bloomberg, HSBC, Bank of China and PricewaterhouseCoopers; and are working in roles such as equity portfolio manager, business planning analyst, and accounting and reporting senior analyst. We have a dedicated careers and employability team who provide 1-2-1 support and advice, group workshops, employer events on campus and networking opportunities throughout the year to help you with your career prospects.
