Through this Master of Public Health (MPH), you will explore the design of effective health promotion activities, discuss the trends in disease spread and prevention, and discover how public health is managed around the world. A key part of the programme is your independent research project on the topic within public health of your choice, which will help develop your research and critical analysis skills. As part of the course, you will be provided with a 1-year student membership of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).

| Entry requirements | At University of Essex Online, we believe that everyone should be able to access education. That is why we offer two different entry routes onto our Master of Public Health (MPH), which take into account both academic and work-based experience. Our courses are taught in English so to study with us you must have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 or equivalent. If you don’t hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification, you will be required to pass a free online English test to assess your proficiency. |
