Summary
The applied sport and exercise physiology course will provide you with the underpinning theoretical knowledge and the key practical skills required to work as an applied sport and exercise physiologist.
Sports and exercise physiologists often work within multidisciplinary teams, helping monitor and develop performance for individual and team-sport athletes.

We have a dedicated human performance clinic allowing students opportunities for hands-on real-world work experience opportunities with external athletes and clubs. We have an established link with West Ham international football academy, giving MSc students the opportunity to conduct fitness testing on football players from around the world. We have an established link with the Parachute Regiment, giving MSc students the opportunity to conduct fitness testing on highly trained military personnel. We have an established link with the Fashion department at UEL, giving MSc students the opportunity to work with global brands such as Umbro on the co-design of sports clothing for performance improvement.
