Our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Creative Enterprise postgraduate course is designed for anyone working in a creative specialism, whether freelance or looking to start a new business.
Suitable creative industries include, for example, film, interior design, music performance, photography, journalism, advertising, fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion textiles, graphic design, animation, illustration, CGI and games development. Those working in digital creative Industries will benefit just as much from the programme’s resources.
This course uniquely reflects the changing nature of creative industries, where innovation comes from disruption, and bringing together the different creative disciplines helps identify solutions and create new opportunities.
As a Creative Enterprise postgraduate student, you will enhance your skillset by developing entrepreneurial skills to commercialise your creative practice. You’ll gain knowledge and learn how to balance creativity and commerciality, and develop a portfolio of commercial work appropriate to your particular industry.
This multi-disciplinary Creative Enterprise postgraduate course brings together creatives from a huge number of disciplines. This kind of exposure to different views and experiences is only possible when people come together to share and learn. This increased knowledge and skillset supports entrepreneurial endeavours, innovation and collaborative working across the creative and cultural industries, including the digital creative industries.
The programme is developed and delivered by professional creative industry experts. It remains relevant to the constant changes in the global creative industries and prepares the students to enter their chosen field with confidence. The programme will be taught in blended online and traditional forms, including individual tutorials, lectures, seminars, industry talks and visits, as well as incorporating self-directed study.
Following the programme, many students choose to freelance or set up their own business, and connect with the UEL Creatives Agency for future opportunities.
