Summary

This course is designed to give you the opportunity to:

Gain and apply both theoretical and specialist practical knowledge of progressive and emerging topics in Software Engineering. Develop the skills needed for developing quality software systems for both the current and next generation of emerging systems and technology. Apply key engineering concepts to the development of quality software systems. As such, the course will train you to investigate and develop quality software projects within the confines of the ethical, social and professional context of computing; in addition to planning, managing and delivering significant software engineering projects, resulting in high-quality output, in addition to developing skills for utilising literature and research output through a dissertation, toward developing the professional skills necessary for starting an excellent career in the IT industry. To explore the vast employability opportunities in software engineering, with a high demand for skilled professionals across diverse industries, driven by the continuous evolution of technology and the critical role of software in various aspects of modern life, due to the growing need for innovative digital solutions, making it a dynamic and rewarding career path.
