Summary

This MSc addresses some of the biggest global threats to our society today, providing students with the opportunity to critically scrutinise how technology and the online world are changing and how crimes are committed as well as crime and deviance more broadly. It offers a comprehensive exploration of information security, cyber criminology, cyber law, cybersecurity, ethical hacking and human rights while allowing you to get hands-on in simulated, real-world scenarios where you can take on the roles of a cyber attacker, victim and a cybersecurity professional. The multidisciplinary approach will appeal to social sciences students as much as those with a computing/technology background.
