Summary
Launched in 2019, this programme is funded by Cancer Research UK and allows medical students to enter a 3-year PhD training programme during their medical degree. The programme offers an exciting opportunity for bright and enthusiastic medical students to gain top-quality research training and secure a clinical qualification.
We see programme alumni as the future academic clinical leaders in cancer research. If selected, you will be trained in cutting-edge practical, scientific and analytic skills with a focus on scientific excellence. You will also gain in-depth understanding of the rigour, discipline and precision required for translational research.
