Summary

The MA Information Experience Design at the RCA enables you to design and generate experiences of complex ideas and phenomena using both computational and living systems. You will transform data both "cold" numerical systems and "warm" relational ones, into meaningful, beautiful and provocative works. The programme is transdisciplinary, drawing on theory from systems, ecology, philosophy and critical design, and encourages you to design your own path. Through cutting-edge, experimental teaching, you will build a unique technical skillset, test conceptual tools, and refine your practice to create work with conceptual depth, material rigour and social relevance. IED emphasises active engagement with society and the environment, integrating empathy, activism and world-building to shape experiences that open new ways of relating and being.

Please refer to the programme webpage for the most accurate and up-to-date information about the programme, its structure, modules and any updates or changes.
