Summary
MA in Filmmaking at Raindance Film School is a future proof degree for filmmakers, entrepreneurs, creatives and future academics wishing to upskill or transition into the film and digital media industry. This programme provides a unique opportunity for you to benefit from the experience of Industry Experts across the world, whilst developing your personal professional practice, as well as your research and independent study skills.
The course is not a traditional ‘taught’ course, rather, it takes ‘Practice as Research’ as its model and puts the acquisition of creative skills and knowledge at its heart. The Programme provides a structure for your learning. You will be able to negotiate your own curriculum (following our modular framework), set your own goals, define what skills and knowledge you need to acquire and then to build your own learning pathway to get there, whilst at the same time producing a portfolio of creative work.
