Loughborough University LondonPostgrad Insights is hosting an AI and Computing webinar with Loughborough University London on Thursday 5th February 2026, at 11am GMT.

The conversion program at Loughborough University London put global challenges at the heart of learning, showing how computing connects to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and can drive positive change. It’s not just about coding and AI – students will also explore how technology can be used responsibly to tackle real-world problems affecting communities worldwide.

In this online event, hosted by Dr Courtney Reed, you’ll hear how students build strong foundations in Programming Fundamentals, Algorithms, Data Structures and Operating Systems, before advancing into AI through Principles of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reinforcement Learning. The event will also showcase Loughborough’s hands-on Collaborative Project, where students work in interdisciplinary teams with industry partners to apply computing and AI to create practical, meaningful solutions. Whether you’re curious about using AI for social good, building technology with purpose, or imagining a career in computer science, this session will give you a real insight into how computing skills can help shape better futures.
