Heriot-Watt UniversityHeriot-Watt University is holding a ‘How to become a Quantum Technologist’ Postgrad Webinar on Thursday 7th May 2026, at 11am BST.

Are you curious about the rapidly expanding world of quantum technologies, or thinking about how you could be part of the next major scientific and technological shift? Dr Marcello Ferrera will share an overview of some of the ground-breaking research happening in quantum technologies and introduce the MSc study route that can help you become part of the quantum revolution. Dr Ferrera will outline the skills and knowledge shaping the field today, and the kinds of backgrounds that can lead into a career in quantum technologies. You’ll also hear from a current MSc Quantum Technologies student, who will offer an honest insight into student life, the learning experience, and the opportunities that open up after graduation.
