University of Suffolk PhD partnership goes from strength to strength
In the 2020/21 academic year, the University of Suffolk formed a new partnership with the University of Brighton aspiring to develop the best possible PhD experience.
The University of Suffolk has a vibrant and supportive Postgraduate Research program – growing and thriving across a variety of research areas. Working closely with academics and fellow research students, as a PhD student you will have access to dedicated, refurbished PhD workspace in the library, continually invested facilities, and a stunning Ipswich waterfront campus – all of which contribute to an emergent research community of the highest quality.
Working in partnership with the University of Brighton, you will have access to a comprehensive catalogue of resources across two Universities. All Brighton training will be available online as either live sessions or recordings of in-person workshops, whilst the University of Suffolk Research Development Programme is a blended approach, with online and in person sessions covering a wide range of topics and views relevant to you, all of which is recorded and stored online for easy access.
The Graduate School welcome applications all year round, with prospective students able to start their PhD’s at the beginning of any month in the year. This ensures that the research programme is flexible and best suits the needs of all students. To apply you will need to complete an application form and submit a research proposal. Your application will be reviewed, and subject to supervisory capacity, you will be offered an interview to discuss your proposal in more detail.
