University of Liverpool to launch MSc in Global Housing Design
Liverpool School of Architecture (LSA) at the University of Liverpool is launching a new MSc in Global Housing Design, with the first cohort being welcomed in September 2025.
This brand new masters degree is an advanced architectural design course aimed at future designers, policy makers and researchers. It will provide students with a global understanding of housing production, culture and politics, giving them a critical overview of housing issues in different metropolitan contexts – including London, where students can spend an optional semester.
The MSc is led by LSA architects and lecturers Jocelyn Froimovich and Johanna Muszbek. “We are excited to welcome future leaders to the School, and work with them through this proactive new programme to confront urban housing crises across the world”, says Jocelyn Froimovich.
This new masters degree has a research-led, interdisciplinary curriculum which will prepare graduates to re-envision the city as well as its homes and inhabitants, enabling students to re-think housing for future urbanities.
Applications for the MSc in Global Housing Design open in Autumn 2024.
