University of Hertfordshire provides students with funding and support

University of HertfordshireThe University of Hertfordshire has launched some great initiatives to support its students through the cost of living crisis.

These initiatives include:

Short-Term Assistance Grant (STAG)

The University of Hertfordshire has the Short-Term Assistance Grant (STAG) for students struggling to cover essential, day-to-day living expenses. STAG is a non-repayable award of £250, aimed at helping students with the rise in the cost of living.

Laptop loan scheme

This laptop loan scheme allows students to borrow a laptop for free while on campus. Students have the option to borrow the laptop for either four or 12 hours from the laptop loan lockers in the university’s Learning Resources Centres on each campus, with no need to pre-book. Students may also borrow a PC to use off-campus.

Scholarship opportunities

The University of Hertfordshire offers a range of non-repayable scholarships and bursaries that can aid in reducing the cost of studying at the university. These scholarships are offered based on a range of criteria and cover multiple areas of study.
