Birmingham launches new £5,000 MA Shakespeare scholarships
The University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon offers students the exciting opportunity to live and study in the Bard’s own hometown. To help you make the most of your studies, they are offering £5,000 scholarships for full-time students on the MA Shakespeare and MA Shakespeare and Creativity courses. The scholarships are open to UK and International students.
Enhance your knowledge of Shakespeare
Scholarship recipients will receive:
- A £5,000 tuition fee reduction
- A tailored package to support personal and professional development, including insights from our collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
How to apply for the scholarship
You’ll need to apply for a relevant course for September 2025 entry:
Only full-time students are eligible for the award. Part-time, distance learning students are not eligible.
Once you’ve submitted a course application, you’ll need to complete the simple online funding application.
Applications for the scholarship close on Friday 30th May 2025 at 4pm BST. Apply now.
