University of Aberdeen announces £8,000 Global Scholarship for international postgrads
The University of Aberdeen has announced the continuation of its Aberdeen Global Scholarship, offering an £8,000 tuition fee reduction to self‑funded international students beginning postgraduate study in the 2026/27 academic year.
The award aims to make world‑class education more accessible to students from around the globe while strengthening the university’s long‑standing commitment to international diversity.
The scholarship is available to eligible students enrolling on full‑time, on‑campus masters or research degrees starting in September 2026 or January 2027. It can be applied across a wide range of subject areas, including language, literature, music, visual culture, art history, and many of the university’s other humanities, social science and interdisciplinary programmes.
