UCL launches online masters in Strategic Accounting and Finance
UCL is launching an online masters degree in Strategic Accounting and Finance for September 2025.
The MSc in Strategic Accounting and Finance (online) has been developed by the UCL School of Management to provide the necessary skills for evaluating accounting and financial data, and to use insights to enhance business performance.
By studying this postgraduate course, students will learn the skills to enable them to apply financial expertise to a range of decision-making scenarios, blending theories and concepts with practical applications. Students will also develop a broad range of skills in accounting, finance and management.
Designed with industry experts and employers to ensure it provides the necessary skills needed for future leaders of finance and accounting, the course will cover areas including the global financial reporting landscape; how organisations are required to report to financial activities; how accounting information is used to make sound business decisions; and behavioural finance and its impact on decision-making.
The programme culminates in a Strategic Financial Project where student’s learnings on financial strategies and business research will be applied to a project of their own choosing.
The MSc Strategic Accounting and Finance (online) is a 12-month, full-time, or 24-month, part-time course featuring a combination of weekly live webinars and asynchronous materials. The tuition fees are £20,500 for Home and Overseas students, and the application deadline for all students is Friday 29th August 2025.
