Staffordshire University launches new Animation MA

Staffordshire UniversityStaffordshire University is launching its Animation MA for September 2021.

Staffordshire’s Animation MA provides a platform to create your own path and develop your expertise through a range of experimental and traditional techniques. Grounded in professional application and influenced by real-world business, the course will develop existing knowledge of creative media, and push boundaries in quality and applied animation.

The course is designed to develop individual knowledge and skills and to provide the framework and structure that encourages independent thinking. Split into seven areas, the course is designed to take you through a negotiated journey, influenced by your aspirations or career interests. Students study modules in areas including story and performance, design and technology, and animation culture and critique, before following a focused pathway in areas such as 2D, 3D and stop motion animation.
