Marshall Scholarship applications are nearly open – get ready!
The Marshall Scholarships is a prestigious funding programme that supports high-achieving undergraduates from the US to study for a postgraduate degree at universities in the UK.
Marshall Scholarships are awarded each year, and they provide a substantial financial contribution to the costs of international study for US students, including tuition fees, book allowances, living costs and daily travel expenses. The Marshall Scholarship programme began in 1954 and is primarily funded by the UK Government.
Up to 50 scholars are selected each year to study at any UK university in almost any field of study and the 2026 application cycle for Marshall Scholarships is opening in about a month’s time – at the end of May or beginning of June 2025. The deadlines for applications are Tuesday 16th September for applicants and Thursday 18th September for endorsing institutions.
