Fuse creativity with technology on a Falmouth masters degree

Falmouth UniversityAs one of the UK’s longest established universities for creative disciplines, Falmouth University combines 120 years of art school heritage with the power of technology to deliver degrees spanning the full breadth of the creative industries.

Building on this foundation and legacy of shaping generations of artists, designers, performers and entrepreneurs, Falmouth has recently launched four new postgraduate taught courses which fuse its creative spark with the potential of emerging technologies: empowering tomorrow’s courageous makers and thinkers.

For content producers and marketers, the sector is constantly shifting to new technology. Falmouth’s new MSc Digital Marketing course reflects this rapidly changing environment, and through industry-informed teaching will equip students with the flexible and resilient skillset required to implement successful digital marketing strategies in today's ever-connected world.

Designers of products and services face similar challenges; technological advancements and the growing need for sustainable design solutions mean the industry is calling out for innovative thinkers and makers to create impactful and ethical solutions. MSc Design Innovation at Falmouth will help designers to refine their skills through the choice of three distinct pathways: Healthcare, Materials or Events. By researching and collaborating on real-world projects, students will shape the future of conscious, global design.

For those remaining built environments, there exists the same potential for driving social, environmental and ethical change. Falmouth’s new studio-based MA Spatial Design course will support students to examine how heritage, culture and ecology shape the built environment and help students to forge their own impactful design practices.

And for the creatives looking to understand and interrogate the use of technology across the breadth of the creative industries, Falmouth have launched MA Artificial Intelligence for Creative Practice. This bold new course will support students from a wide range of creative and technical backgrounds to explore how tools such as artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive technologies and data-driven systems can be harnessed to expand the impact of creative work, and create new, meaningful experiences.
