Durham University offers new international scholarships worth £5,000+ each
Durham University has introduced new international scholarships starting from £5,000 each.
Durham’s new International Scholarships are available to students from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Vietnam who are looking to study at undergraduate or taught postgraduate level this September 2025.
The scholarships consist of a £5,000 per year tuition fee discount and it applies to full-time on campus programmes only, excluding study abroad or placement years.

Most of Durham’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are eligible for these International Scholarships – exclusions are the following:
- Business School programmes at all levels
- Undergraduate Law programmes
- Any second year of a taught postgraduate programme
- PGCE
- PGCERT (Education)
- MA Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Objects
- All research postgraduate programmes
- MSW – Social Work
- Graduate Diplomas
Applicants who are made a conditional offer for eligible courses with 2025 entry will automatically be considered for the International Scholarship and do not need to apply separately.
