Abertay University launches seven new online masters programs

Abertay UniversityAbertay University is launching seven new online masters programs this year.

From September 2022, Abertay University is accepting applications for four new MBA programs and four computer sciences masters degrees. The new courses are:

  • MBA
  • MBA with Entrepreneurship
  • MBA with Project Management
  • MBA with Data Analytics
  • MSc Computer Science
  • MSc Computer Science with Cyber Security
  • MSc Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence.


All these courses can be studied fully online and in a completely flexible way to suit the student’s particular life circumstances, including those who are in full-time work and those with caring responsibilities or family commitments.

These online masters degrees each have six start dates a year, allowing students to begin their studies within weeks or choose a date in the future that suits them best.

Principal of Abertay University, Professor Liz Bacon, explains, “Abertay aims to offer transformational opportunities through our approach to education and we have a history of responding to the needs industry.”

She continues, “Launching a suite of online degrees was therefore the next natural step in encouraging and enabling a new audience of working professionals to reach their full potential. By developing programs that can be studied part time and fully online, we are opening access to higher education to everyone who has the ambition to study for a degree as these courses provide flexibility to suit work and family needs.”

Professor Bacon adds, “Our online degrees, much like our on-campus degrees, have been designed to be industry-relevant and future-focused, giving students the knowledge and skills that they need to progress in a modern work environment, whilst becoming sought-after graduates who can fulfil the current and emerging needs of employers.”
