Aberdeen ranked No 2 in Scotland for student satisfaction
The National Student Survey (NSS) has ranked the University of Aberdeen second in Scotland for overall student satisfaction, and 15th in the UK for positive responses.
The NSS survey was released in July 2024 and measures student feedback across a broad range of areas concerning their learning experience and support. In this recently published report, Aberdeen’s overall student satisfaction and average positivity scores have climbed to 85% and 84% respectively.
Out of the 122 HEIs ranked, the NSS places the University of Aberdeen in the UK top 10 for teaching, academic support, learning resources and organisation.
Speaking about these impressive results, Aberdeen’s Vice-Principal (Education) Jo-Anne Murray says, “The continued rise in student satisfaction and positive responses reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence in our education. Our students are at the heart of everything we do.”
She continues, “This is another strong performance in a national survey and colleagues across the University can be justifiably proud of the gold standard experience being delivered to our students.”
This year, the University of Aberdeen has also been placed in the top 10 universities in the UK and top 50 in the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.
