One of our most notable successes saw our team at the OpTIC Centre in St Asaph polish prototype mirrors for a £900m project on the world’s largest telescope.

Facilities
Our campuses have that community feel and are home to a range of state-of-the-art buildings and facilities. Now is a great time to join Wrexham University as we are nearing completion of our £80 million campus development strategy to enhance our campuses and local region.
As part of our campus developments, we have introduced modern and welcoming social learning spaces and refurbished our lecture theatres and classrooms. The University has also developed a wide range of subject-specific spaces, some of which include our new science labs, CanfodAu, Colliers Park National Football Development Centre, Biomechanics and Performance Sciences Laboratory, Cyber Innovation Academy (CIA) and Veterinary Nursing Clinical Suite. We have also developed a Health and Education Innovation Quarter (HEIQ) to include a Healthcare Simulation Centre for practical, hands-on learning.
Our Wrexham Plas Coch campus is home to an impressive array of food and drink options, including our very own bar, Glyn’s.
