Student support
We want to make sure you get the most out of your studies in the UK and we are here to support you every step of the way.

As well as having a dedicated academic adviser, you can benefit from our free English Language and Academic Skills (ELAS) modules which are designed to help you improve in areas such as English grammar and pronunciation, essay writing and note-taking. You can also join our student-led international wellbeing group to meet other international students, share stories and support each other.

Kent has an excellent record for employment. Alongside developing career skills on your programme, you’ll have access to Kent’s extensive careers support.  This includes one-to-one advice, workshops and resources from our Careers and Employability Service International students will get specialist support and access to resources to help you find work anywhere in the world. To support you during your studies, our generous scholarship fund includes awards for musical and sporting excellence and exclusive scholarships for international students including British Council GREAT Scholarships and Chevening Scholarships. September Scholarships

The University of Kent has a long-standing relationship with Chevening, which has successfully placed scholars from all over the world at the university for many years. Kent is proud to be a Chevening partner, and offers three partner scholarships, in addition to the standard Chevening Scholarships. The University of Kent welcomes applications from all Chevening-eligible countries for any one-year taught master’s degree starting in September 2024, based at our UK campuses.
