Summary
Teaching is an option for anyone with a passion for learning who may want to pass this on to others. This long-standing course is validated by the highly respected University of Huddersfield. The course provides a holistic understanding of what it means to be a teacher, both within and beyond the classroom. You will gain experience of teaching in a subject specialist area and learn how to develop a curriculum. The course is practice-based and will enable you to develop inclusivity and your professional abilities for the future. Applicants must complete 250 hours classroom teaching in the year. Once you have completed the course, you can expect to be working in a lifelong learning environment with all the relevant skills that you need to support the students in your care.
