Summary
Designed for experienced practitioners such as you, this degree expands beyond the traditional styles of management. You will learn how to critically evaluate risk from the perspective of the stakeholder, giving you vital insights which will help to progress your career.
Develop your reflective skills as you consider multiple aspects of management, including collaboration, financial analysis and leadership behaviours. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge as you solve an organisational challenge through working on a consultancy research brief, enabling you to expand your management consultancy skills.
This degree is more than just the theoretical side of management, you will apply your learning to real world organisational challenges through the management consultancy independent study. This experience will enable you to apply your findings to your own workplace as you liaise with experts and stakeholders.
What you'll study
On our MBA Business Administration (Executive) degree, you’ll gain the opportunity to enhance your competencies in the area of strategic leadership and management.
You’ll explore the key features of a high-performing team and develop the essential knowledge, skills and confidence to lead more effectively. You’ll examine risks from organisational and stakeholder perspectives and develop approaches to mitigate them. We’ll help you develop key knowledge and skills needed to structure, analyse, and solve a variety of decision-making issues, including those associated with finance. You’ll also gain the opportunity to formulate and evaluate strategies that maximise organisational effectiveness without compromising longer term sustainability goals. The Management Consulting module allows you to collaborate with your peers to solve a real organisational problem while the Management Consultancy Project provides you with the opportunity to apply your learning to a challenge within your own professional context.
By the end of the programme, you’ll emerge as a more effective and responsible leader, capable of driving positive change in your work environment.
