Discover our longest-running Physician Associate Studies programme, where you will gain hands-on experience in taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering and analysing tests, diagnosing illnesses, and creating treatment and management plans. A demanding, but highly rewarding course, it boasts exceptional pass rates for the Physician Associate National Exam.

The MPAS programme is delivered by a multi-professional team including physician associates (PAs), many of whom are alumni, doctors, lecturers from across the university programmes and visiting specialists.

City St George’s Tooting campus is based in a hospital, making it the ideal place to study the Master’s in Physician Associate Studies (MPAS). With unrivalled access to clinical resources and working professionals, the course will fully equip you with all the skills and knowledge required to support doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients.

We are invested in supporting the profession nationally and many members of the teaching team have held roles with the professional membership body, the Faculty of Physician Associates. We feel that an active presence in different national groups demonstrates our commitment to the profession and to excellence which, in turn, will encourage our students to become informed, professional and outstanding physician associates.
