This is a professional interdisciplinary course, providing all the ingredients for you to advance your career as a leader or into a senior position of leadership of technology and/or engineering businesses. The content is research-informed, industry-focused with strong leadership development.
Industry relevant experience Engineering and the part it has to play in shaping the future is shifting at an unprecedented rate - with global challenges, technology revolution, fast innovation and a range of related issues demanding ever greater skills, awareness and agility from today's industry and business leaders.
MSc Engineering Management offers a unique opportunity for those who are eager to equip themselves with the essential capabilities and industry-relevant skills to excel as a future leader in an increasingly globally connected environment.
Exceptional interdisciplinary experience The master's is taught by the Department of Engineering, Design and Mathematics and the Bristol Business School and provides a unique opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment, and additionally work with leading academics and externally-recognised industry speakers.
The focus is on management within technology and engineering organisations, with a strong emphasis on the modern strategic challenges facing multinationals and SMEs, and the part that technology and engineering businesses have to play in addressing them.
Tailor the course to suit your interests Importantly, you will have the opportunity to tailor the course towards your own area or areas of interest - whether that is technical strengthening in either engineering or advanced manufacturing or business widening in change management - ensuring the content you study offers you the strongest possible skillset and preparation for your future career.
Learn from a diverse cohort This is highly relevant for graduates from diverse backgrounds who want to develop themselves as leaders of technology and/or engineering businesses, and for anyone with industrial experience looking to accelerate their career into a senior position of leadership.
As such, you will engage with, and learn from, people from a diverse range of backgrounds and interests - adding further to the richness of debate and learning experience you can expect on the course.

| Entry requirements | We normally require a honours degree at 2:2 or above in an engineering or business related discipline. Personal Statement UWE Bristol's International College English language support International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*). *The University accepts a large number of UK and international qualifications in place of IELTS.
