It‘s suited to both aspiring practitioners and experienced professionals who want to enhance their knowledge of digital workflows and information management and drive more sustainable and digitally enabled decisions across the built environment.

Summary
This course takes a holistic approach to the complete building life cycle, including design, construction, management, maintenance, and sustainability. The course emphasises innovative sustainable and collaborative practices in building information modelling and management, within an integrated approach. Throughout the programme, students will have an opportunity to examine a range of existing and emerging building information modelling (BIM) issues and use a range of BIM related applications, such as modelling and management, analysis and visualisation. They will also have the opportunity to apply BIM knowledge in business and practice, which involves the production of a BIM organisational strategic plan to ensure that BIM is aligned with a business strategy, and creating a BIM organisational execution plan to implement BIM in accordance with detailed business operations. Finally students will have an opportunity to research a BIM related topic of their choice.

Summary
