Being a civil engineer is like being a jack-of-all-trades with a very large ruler. One day, you’re out in the field testing soil (and praying it’s not marshmallow soft), the next, you're explaining why a bridge can’t defy gravity. We turn coffee into CAD drawings, battle impossible deadlines, and answer the ever-popular question, 'Why is this project over budget?' And yes, we have to politely explain that no, you can’t build a skyscraper on sand or put a highway through a mountain—at least not without some major paperwork. It’s a job full of challenges, but hey, we make things stand up!
