University of Liverpool is launching an MA in Sustainable Heritage Management
The University of Liverpool is launching an MA in Sustainable Heritage Management with the first cohort due to start in autumn 2021.
This full-time, 12-month MA program is fully recognised by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) – the UK's leading body for building conservation practitioners and historic environment experts. As well as covering IHBC’s areas of competence, the MA in Sustainable Heritage Management will also follow the education guidelines of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), UNESCO and Council of Europe requirements.
This new postgraduate program will provide students with the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary skills needed to master aspects of sustainable heritage management theory and practice. There will also be the opportunity to gain practical experience with heritage sector professionals through placements in the UK and overseas.
The MA in Sustainable Heritage Management is currently subject to University approval.
