University College Dublin launches two online Dermatology CPD courses
The Charles Institute of Dermatology at University College Dublin is launching two new Continued Professional Development courses from September 2021 – Biology of Human Skin and Biology of Human Hair Growth.
They are both 12-lecture CPD courses taught completely online and on a part-time bases, and are split from the original Professional Certificate of Skin and Hair Follicle Science. The lectures will be delivered by Professor of Dermatological Science at UCD, Professor Desmond Tobin, who is an active skin and hair follicle researcher. In addition to this there may also be occasional lectures delivered by invited specialists.
These new courses are suitable for applicants who do not necessarily have a primary degree in biology, as they have been designed for a range of students (graduates and non-graduates) from biological or general life sciences backgrounds. These CPD courses will also be of interest to clinicians (including nurses) and other professionals working in industrial or academic research environments.
Students who complete one of these CPD courses will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course with total CPD points stated.
