Strathclyde’s Faculty of Science offers excellent online learning PG courses
The Faculty of Science at the University of Strathclyde offers a great selection of online postgraduate courses with January and September 2024 start dates.
Strathclyde Online courses are delivered through MyPlace virtual learning environment (VLE). MyPlace has been designed to provide the same high-quality learning experience that the University of Strathclyde offers its on-campus students, including:
- Video lectures and live workshops
- Interactive activities
- Discussion forums and group working task
- Regular assistance from dedicated tutors
- Databases, e-books and journals are accessed online via the University’s Andersonian Library
The Faculty of Science has designed its online courses to be as flexible as possible as well as to provide a quality learning experience. All assessments are undertaken online, including oral presentations, large-scale major projects and end-of-module tasks.
The Faculty of Science at the University of Strathclyde has five departments, two of which currently offer online, part-time postgraduate courses:
Mathematics & Statistics
- MSc Applied Statistics (online) – January and September 2024 start dates
- MSc Applied Statistics in Finance (online) – January and September 2024 start dates
- MSc Applied Statistics in Health Sciences (online) – January and September 2024 start dates
- MSc Applied Statistics with Data Science (online) – January and September 2024 start dates
Pure & Applied Chemistry
- PgCert Fundamentals in Forensic Science (online) – September 2024 start date
