We have two MRAC fellowship scholarships available, offering a 30% tuition fee discount. Open to UK postgraduate taught applicants starting in September 2026. Successful applicants will undertake work within the Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications Department (MRAC) to gain valuable work experience throughout the year alongside their studies. The closing date for entries is Sunday 21 June 2026.
Get up to 100% off your course fees with a Future Shapers scholarship. Open to UK candidates starting in September 2026 who have achieved or are aiming to achieve a 2:1 or higher in their undergraduate degree. We’re looking for students who want to use research to create practical solutions to solve major global challenges. The closing date for entries is May 29 2026.
The scholarship offers a 3000GBP - 5000GBP tuition award for full time postgraduate taught offer holders. Open to all offer holders coming to Heriot-Watt in September 2026 who are resident in North, central or South America as well as any European Country that is not part of the European Union. The closing date for entries is Monday 15 June 2026.
The Coaching scholarship programme offers up to 100% tuition fee reduction for applicants who are passionate about coaching and developing the sports programme and performance of student athletes. Anyone studying a postgraduate level at Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh campus, is eligible to apply. The coaching scholar will be expected to deliver coaching to one of the constituted clubs of Heriot-Watt University Sports Union. The closing date for entries is April 30 2026.
The UK Merit scholarship offers a 20% tuition fee discount. This will be awarded to any student with a UK fee status who achieves a 2:1 undergraduate degree or higher, and has applied for MSc Real Estate, MSc Brewing and Distilling or MSc Investment Management. The closing date for entries is August 30 2026.
The International Merit Scholarship is open to international fee-paying students starting a full time postgraduate programme in September 2026. Eligibility criteria will vary by region, so contact one of our regional team members for more information.
The Postgraduate European Union scholarship is an automatically applied 5000GBP fee reduction for a full-time postgraduate taught programme at Heriot-Watt University. This is open to any prospective student coming from an EU country to study.
