Postgrad Solutions Ltd is offering two UK Postgraduate Study Bursaries each to the value of £500. They are open to both international and UK students, and aim to help students fund their chosen postgraduate study options. To apply for a Postgraduate Study Bursary, you have to be a member of the free-of-charge Postgrad Solutions Student Service, and you have to be starting any postgraduate course anywhere in the UK in 2012. The winners will not be announced until Autumn 2012, but students starting courses in January 2013 are still eligible to apply for the bursaries.
While these Bursaries are open to all students, those planning to enrol on an engineering or an IT/computer science programme in the UK are encouraged to apply for the new Engineering Bursaries and IT/Computer Science Bursaries instead of applying for these more general Bursaries.
Payment of the award will be made direct to your institution, and will be discounted from your fees as appropriate. You may only apply for a bursary after you have accepted an offer of a place at your chosen institution. The closing date for all entries is 18 August 2012.

'When I got to know about winning the bursary, for the first few moments I couldn't believe it was me! After all, there were so many applications for this award. It has been a month since the start of my postgraduate course at Newcastle University and so far everything is going great. The bursary is very important to me in two ways. It helps me with paying fees but also it is some kind of a reassurance that I really should be here, and that coming to the UK for further studies was a good decision. This is the happiest time of my student life!'
Ewa Slomska from Poland, who studied an MA Cross-Cultural Communication and Applied Linguistics at Newcastle University
'Winning the Postgrad Solutions bursary is fantastic. The £500 is a sizeable chunk of my fees and has really helped take away some of the pressure that my fees have put me under. By helping me pay for my journalism course, Postgrad Solutions have brought me one step closer to undertaking my dream career.'
British student Benjamin William Martin, who studied a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism at City University
