Manchester launches new distance e-learning programme in Pharmaceutical Manufacture Engineering

The University of Manchester has launched a new Master’s programme in Pharmaceutical Manufacture Engineering as a distance e-learning course.

The School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester is offering students the chance to study the MSc Pharmaceutical Manufacture Engineering part-time while continuing to work. This new distance learning postgraduate certificate is aimed at employees of the pharmaceutical industry, and is designed to give participants an all-round education in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.

Study modules on the MSc in Pharmaceutical Manufacture Engineering reflect current issues within industry and will be supervised by staff with direct experience of the pharmaceutical industry, together with academics from engineering groups at the University of Manchester. The four modules (taken over two years) will usually be offered in April and September, and are: 

The Pharmaceutical Industry
Pharmaceutical Processes
Pharmaceutical Quality
Facilities – design construction, operation and maintenance
