Summary
programme will build on our expertise gained through the delivery of our undergraduate programmes in Integrated Health and Social Care. It will benefit from our strong links with International Foundation for Integrated Care, NHS Education for Scotland, the Alliance, IRRIS, NHS Health Boards, Health and Social Care Partnerships, Integrated Joint Boards and SSSC.
The programme aims to critically explore the concept of outcomes based, people-centred, integrated care from an individual, service and organisational perspective; develop a critical awareness of the important role of contextual, cultural and socio-economic factors in improving population health and wellbeing outcomes; enhance skills and confidence in planning, designing,implementing and evaluating people-centred integrated care; and nurture compassionate, creative and, courageous leadership behaviours to support transformational change and improve outcomes with people.
The programme is suitable for those working in the cross-sectoral fields within health and social care across the public, private and voluntary sectors in either clinical, administrative or support roles.

Entry requirements | You should normally possess an appropriate undergraduate degree in, for example, but not exclusively in: health; social sciences or business related field. You must also be currently working in a health or social care environment or at least have current experience (normally within the last five years) which you can draw upon in order to meet the course’s assessment requirements. If you do not have an undergraduate degree but you can demonstrate extensive, relevant and current experience then you might still be considered at the course leader’s discretion. As part of your application please ensure your upload a personal statement detailing all of your relevant experience. |
