Summary
The course has been developed to offer theory, knowledge and practical skills development across the areas of clinical, health and neuropsychology. In addition, students will receive training in professional practice and advanced research methods.
The knowledge and skills you will develop will help prepare you for a PhD in a clinical or health-related area, or a career as a Practitioner Psychologist.
You can study full-time over one year or part-time over two years.

Entry requirements | First or Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Psychology from a UK University, or overseas equivalent. Applicants must be able to evidence that they have undertaken a statistics class/module and also a research methods class/module and completed a research project/dissertation in their undergraduate degree. If they have no previous statistics or research experience then they will struggle with the content of this programme. Please note: this is a very popular programme of study and we receive more applications each year than we have places to offer. Places are offered on a first-come first-served basis so you are advised to apply as early as possible. Once we have reached capacity, any applications that are received will be held on a waiting list. You're required to have a suitable minimum level of competency in the English language if your first language is not English or if you have not been educated wholly or mainly in the medium of English. The MSc Clinical Health Psychology requires a minimum overall score of IELTS 7.0 (no individual components below 6.5 and a writing component of 7 or above) or equivalent. Test must be valid for two years. |
