The Accounting and Finance MSc aims to provide students with the knowledge and understanding of current issues in accounting and finance through the application of research led learning and teaching techniques.
Programme Overview The programme structure combines theoretical and conceptual understanding of current issues and links this to practice in the current financial market environment. The programme combines issues in theory, practice and research, and provides opportunities to develop both analytical and technical skills. These skills are sought after by top academic institutions in the PhD programmes and also required by top employers worldwide.

Entry requirements | The University of Liverpool Management School continues to welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced international student cohort. However in order to maintain the high quality of student experience, programmes will stop accepting new applications from certain countries once the number of offers from these countries exceed the target. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year. In these cases we will aim to provide a 3-week notice period to the affected country, prior to any programme closure. A first degree from an approved university or a UK 2:1 or International equivalent for students with Bachelor’s degrees with at least eight modules in accounting and/or finance. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA will also be considered. International qualifications: Applications from international students are welcomed. Country specific information on entry requirements is listed on our website www.liv.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines. |
