Summary

This programme is designed to equip engineers with the skills, knowledge and ability to meet the significant demands of sustainable power generation in the 21st century. The programme has been developed on the key strands of energy sources, conversion technologies, and the economic and ecological factors that shape our approach to sustainability. Study is based upon enquiry and action learning, where students are introduced to a topic and then develop their understanding through problem-based scenarios. Students will be part of a thriving hub of research and development excellence within the School of Engineering, where they will work alongside expert academics on innovative projects in collaboration with industry.
