What is International Business Law and Management LLM? This course offers a critical and insightful introduction to the fascinating world of international business and commercial law at postgraduate level.
The programme incorporates core modules including three contemporary topics within international business law: International Commercial Law, International Trade Law and Law and Ethics in International Business and Corporate.
Other modules you will study consist of Research Methods which aims to equip students with an understanding of research methodologies, preparing you for both academic and a career in practice with the ability to undertake independent critical enquiry.
For those of you aspiring to gain specific managerial knowledge and experience, or those of you thinking of stepping into management as a progression to their career this course provides you with a route into achieving your goals.
Study style Core knowledge, understanding and skills will be acquired through scheduled learning and teaching activities, including seminars, lectures, trips, scenario-driven workshops and practice-based learning. You will be involved with practical exercises such as mock negotiation, simulated arbitration and simulated board room meetings.
Your independent learning will be supported by the effective use of the University’s virtual learning environment, Moodle, engagement with the Industry and guest lectures. This programme builds on the undergraduate degree which uses a range of learning and teaching practices and incorporates lawyer’s skills and attributes into the programme.

At least a 2.2 honours degree equivalent in this subject area. Or a relevant level 6 qualification. EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other component) or equivalent. Relevant work experience will also be taken into consideration
