We will support candidates with their applications before the deadline but if unsuccessful, they can opt for a research proposal for their dissertation. Students can also secure their own projects with approval from academic and/or professional services.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take eight core and two optional courses, and complete a dissertation. Your dissertation will focus on an HRM/HRD issue which develops your organisational research skills and encourages the development of research informed solutions to real life work-based issues.

CAREER PROSPECTS By the end of the programme you will have acquired the knowledge and skills for developing your career in either HRM or HRD, including international managerial roles. Recent graduates have gone onto roles including HR Analyst, Recruiter, Diversity & Inclusion Manager and HR Director. The learning approach emphasises experiential learning, reflective practice, and the development of interpretive, evaluative and problem-solving abilities which provide benefits for employers and enhances graduate career prospects.
