Summary

The Masters in Economic Development focuses on the economic analysis of issues primarily related to economic development and development policy. You will benefit from a wide range of courses during the first semester, before choosing your preferred pathway. In the second semester, you can specialise in either finance (with a focus on developing countries) or development policy.

WHY THIS PROGRAMME - Gain in-depth insights into the economic challenges faced by developing countries and develop practical skills to pursue a successful career in economic development. Our programme is designed to enhance your employability and open opportunities for further academic study.

*Industry Projects are not guaranteed. All applications are subject to availability and review processes. We will support candidates with their applications before the deadline but if unsuccessful, they can opt for a research proposal for their dissertation. Students can also secure their own projects with approval from academic and/or professional services.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take four core courses and a selection of optional courses. You can choose between submitting a dissertation or completing an industry project.
