Summary

The Masters in Economic Development focuses on the economic analysis of issues primarily related to economic development and development policy. You will benefit from a wide range of courses during the first semester, before choosing your preferred pathway. In the second semester, you can specialise in either finance (with a focus on developing countries) or development policy.

• You will have access to a wide range of conferences and seminars hosted by the Glasgow Centre for International Development. We will support candidates with their applications before the deadline but if unsuccessful, they can opt for a research proposal for their dissertation. PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take four core courses and a selection of optional courses. You can choose between submitting a dissertation or completing an industry project.
